2017-2018 1L Representatives:
Rachel Briones is from LaGrange, Illinois and graduated from the University of Illinois summa cum laude. During undergrad, Rachel had the opportunity to work as a summer legal intern at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC.). At the EEOC, Rachel explored various aspects of employment litigation. Rachel was able to work side-by-side with numerous EEOC attorneys to help represent those who faced discrimination in the workplace. Thanks to her summer at the EEOC, Rachel’s interest in the legal field, particularly labor and employment law, began to blossom.
Emily Morgan is originally from Kalamazoo, MI. She attended Oberlin College, where she majored in Latin American Studies and graduated with honors in 2016. Before arriving at law school, Emily spent a year working as a math tutor in Chicago Public Schools. Outside of academics, she enjoys working out, cooking spicy food, and discovering new music and podcasts. Emily is very excited to begin working with the Labor and Employment Law Society!
